From Resilience to Success
Kelsey Battle's life is a story of perseverance, resilience, and empowerment. Born in Fayetteville, NC, he faced illiteracy as an adult but defied the odds by teaching himself to read and write, later earning a BA in Psychology from Liberty University. His journey is a powerful testament to the belief that it’s never too late to embrace education and personal growth.
Kelsey served honorably in the U.S. Army for over 11 years, during which time he conceived the idea for ICAN (I Can Achieve Now) Clothes, a motivational clothing brand. The tragic Columbine High School shooting ignited his passion for creating a brand that inspires change and motivates individuals to foster a positive mindset.

Mental health awareness, particularly among Black men, is a cause close to Kelsey’s heart. He is committed to breaking the stigma around mental health and uses his brand to spread messages of hope, resilience, and empowerment, encouraging people to seek support when needed.

In addition to his military service and advocacy, Kelsey is a highly successful entrepreneur. He has built several multi-million-dollar businesses and dedicates his time to mentoring men on achieving financial stability and prosperity through financial literacy.

Above all, Kelsey is a devoted husband of nearly 30 years and a father to five children. His family is the foundation of his life, motivating his ongoing commitment to personal and professional success. Kelsey's inspiring journey—from overcoming illiteracy and serving in the military to launching ICAN Clothes and advocating for mental health—illustrates that with faith and determination, anything is possible
